inaugural blogural

I'd like to say that a lot has happened since the beginning of Community Records, but I realize as I'm doing so that there's a problem with this line of thought. Certainly not with the "lot has happened" part, but rather with the idea of "the beginning."
Having been an active participant or a witness to every detail of this project I feel quite qualified to judge progress, but - try as I might - I'm not sure I can identify a clear point of origin for the force that is CR. Several strong images come to mind - not surprisingly, many of the scenes were played out at the Corner Brew!
Jesse sitting at a table with Rick and Dave and a composition book; taking fast, illegible notes and talking even faster.
The articles of incorporation stuck to the fridge.
Steve Fishman at our computer putting the finishing touches on Tony's logo.
Laith and Jo singing on the street at the funfest last summer.
The unpleasant shock of hearing my own voice on the birth podcast.
Trying to put Stu to bed with cello/organ/electronica tai chi music being recorded in the living room.
Jesse hanging up his phone and dancing his "probono" dance around the house for two days after Trent called to tell us we had a team of lawyers working for us for free.
